Cleaning your lenses

The Lenses will get dirty from fingerprints and general use.

Before cleaning your glasses, make sure your hands are clean and dry.

You will have been provided with a lens cleaning cloth. A clean microfibre cloth can also be used. Do not use anything that could scratch the surface. You can also use lens wipes.

If you have grease or dirt that smudges, then you will need to use a solution. You can rinse your lenses with lukewarm water or with a lens cleaning solution. Rinse the lenses and dry them with a microfibre cloth.

Looking after your glasses

Do not put your glasses face down on any surface as the lens can get scratched (even with an anti scratch coating)

Do not expose your lenses to extreme heat or cold. Temperature can warp the lens and frames.

Avoid exposure to glues, hair spray, or anything that can make them sticky.

Check for loose screws especially at the hinges.

Try not to fall asleep with your glasses on.

If you need to take your glasses on and off frequently (for example at work) purchase a glasses strap. This also helps if you are a little bit forgetful!

Put your glasses in their case when not in use. Glasses are provided with a hard case, but you may find a soft case as a useful alternative and smaller to carry.
